Development Feasibility & Urban Design Report – Mixed Use Residential Flat Building, Burwood NSW
Working with PSEC Project Services, iPLAN PROJECTS prepared an initial urban design study and preliminary development feasibility application to Burwood Council for a mixed use commercial and residential flat building on Gloucester Avenue, Burwood – less than 200m from the rail station. The site involved a complex proposal to amalgamate and strata subdivide a set of nine heritage terraces, removing unsympathetic rear additions and providing these terraces with off-street basement parking in return for their Floor Space to create a 12-20 storey tower. Unfortunately, due to numerous site constraints and an inability to get a consensus from the heritage property owners, this project did not proceed further.
