Development Application – Tourist Accommodation (Change of Use), Leura NSW

We prepared a development application for a change of use from an existing bed & breakfast facility to a holiday let (no owner/manager on-site) for up to twelve (12) people.  Sensitive issues addressed included noise and traffic impacts from larger groups, parking layout, retrospective approval for conversion of a former garage, management and operations for tourist accommodation, and other residential impacts.  This was approved by Council in April/May 2015.  A further Section 96 modification was lodged to seek to amend some of the more restrictive conditions of consent, but was unsuccessful due to political pressure from neighbours.
