Development Application – New Dwelling – Rural Property outside Orange NSW

In early 2015 we prepared the detailed design and development application for our own new dwelling!  You are always your own worst client – so after several design changes and co-ordinating consultancy advice – the application was finally lodged at the end of April and approved by Cabonne Council in late June 2015.   We had to address particular issues with development below the minimum lot size, use of reflective materials, and development in a water catchment. We are now in the process of finalising structural design and the Construction Certificate and hope to be building soon!

We want to thank PSEC Project Services; Tony McBurney of Integrated Design Group (Architects); Dan Cook of Cook & Roe (Structural Engineers); Envirowest (Geo-tech & Effluent Management); & Geolyse (Survey); and Cabonne Council (Approval) for all their assistance in getting us to this point.
